The African Collection, now 10 years old, is an Australian owned and operated company. We endeavour to buy from suppliers who have World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) accreditation. While some suppliers do not have that accreditation, they all have concerns for their communities and often have programs/projects in place to improve employment opportunities. These suppliers are from Kenya, Swaziland and South Africa.

Like them, I hope that in some small way The African Collection is doing its bit to create employment and empowerment for African women.
